These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Step Into Tranquility website, services, and paid online community. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. BOOKING AND RESERVATIONS
a. Reservation Process:
By making a reservation through our website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You will have the opportunity to verify and correct your information in the customer portal before finalizing your reservation.
b. Payment:
Payments for reservations are processed via Stripe and are billed monthly according to the terms specified during the booking process.
c. Cancellation and Refunds:
Non-Refundable Deposit
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.Cancellation Policy
More than 60 days before the retreat: Full refund (minus deposit)
30–59 days before the retreat: 50% refund (minus deposit)
Less than 30 days: No refund
Medical and Emergency Clause
In the case of verifiable emergencies, clients may reschedule to a future retreat date or receive a credit valid for 12 months.
Force Majeure Clause
In the event of natural disasters, pandemics, or other uncontrollable circumstances, clients may choose between a full refund, credit, or rebooking.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation request, minus any applicable fees.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that clients purchase travel or retreat insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations. This provides additional protection beyond our standard refund policy.
2. USE OF OUR SERVICES
a. Personal Conduct:
You agree to use our services responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
b. Prohibited Activities:
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Engaging in fraud or deceptive practices
Unauthorized access or hacking of our systems
Distribution of malicious software or viruses
Transmission of spam or unsolicited communications
Infringement of intellectual property rights
Harassment or abuse of other users
Use of our services for illegal activities
Attempting to disrupt or interfere with the functionality of our website
Collecting or harvesting user data without consent
Any activity that violates industry standards for online conduct
Penalties and Actions:
Users engaging in prohibited activities may face account suspension, termination of services, and legal action. Enforcement actions will be communicated to the user via email.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
a. Ownership:
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on our website belong to Step Into Tranquility or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
b. Usage Restrictions:

Step Into Tranquility shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use our services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. However, this limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

6. CHANGES TO TERMS
a. Major Changes to Terms:
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect significant changes to our services or legal requirements. In the event of major changes, we will provide you with at least 30 days' notice via email and/or a prominent notice on our website. Major changes include modifications to core services, pricing structures, user rights and responsibilities, privacy policies, and governing law.
b. Updates:
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes not classified as major changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on our website.
7. GOVERNING LAW
a. Jurisdiction:
These Terms and your use of our website and services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain without regard to its conflict of law provisions. While we primarily operate under Spanish jurisdiction, we acknowledge our international visitors and customers. b. Dispute Resolution:
For users outside of Spain, disputes will be managed through arbitration or mediation as an alternative to court litigation. 8. PAID ONLINE COMMUNITY
a. Subscription Fees:
Access to our paid online community is available through a monthly subscription. Payments are processed via Stripe and billed on a monthly basis.
b. Refund Policies:
Refunds for the paid online community are granted under industry-standard conditions, such as billing errors or service issues. To request a refund, please contact us at legal@stepintotranquility.com within 14 days of your subscription charge.
c. Community Guidelines:
Acceptable Behavior: Members are expected to engage respectfully, contribute positively, and uphold the community's values.
Prohibited Content: Disallowed content includes hate speech, NSFW content, harassment, and any material that violates intellectual property rights.
d. Enforcement:
Violations of community guidelines will be addressed in the following manner:
First Violation: Warning issued to the user
Second Violation: Suspension of community access
Third Violation: Removal from the community with no refund
e. User-Generated Content:
Ownership: Users retain ownership of their content but grant Step Into Tranquility the right to use it with the user's consent.
Usage Rights: The company may modify, distribute, or display user content after obtaining the owner's consent.
Content Moderation: Content is reviewed to ensure compliance with community guidelines. If inappropriate content is detected, it will be removed, and the user may be warned or suspended.
f. Privacy Aspects:
Data Sharing: Personal data within the community is handled as detailed in our Privacy Policy and is not shared with third parties without consent.
Anonymity Options: Users must register with their real identities and cannot participate anonymously or with pseudonyms.
Data Protection: User data within the community is protected through industry-standard security measures as described in our Privacy Policy.
g. Termination of Access:
Conditions for Revocation: Access may be terminated for violations of community guidelines or other breaches of Terms.
Appeal Process: There is no formal appeal process for termination decisions.
Data Retention: Upon termination, user data and content are retained according to our Privacy Policy.
h. Dispute Resolution:
Conflict Handling: Disputes between members or between members and the organization will be addressed through mediation.
Resolution Methods: While arbitration is not offered, mediation will be available to resolve conflicts amicably.
Process Transparency: The dispute resolution process will be clearly communicated to all community members upon the initiation of a dispute.
i. Community Engagement:
Participation Requirements: Active participation is encouraged but not required.
Incentives: Currently, there are no specific incentives for active participation.

9. CONTENT OWNERSHIP AND LICENSING
a. Licensing Terms:
Users grant Step Into Tranquility a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display their content within the community, provided they have obtained consent from any third parties involved.
b. Third-Party Content:
Only official partners are allowed to offer their products and services within the community. Unauthorized third-party content is prohibited.
10. COMPLIANCE AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

The community adheres to all applicable regulations, including GDPR, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
b. International Considerations:
